PBT Impact modifier MD-P301


Impact Modifier is also called toughening agent.

MD-P301 is the toughening compatibilizing agent of PBT(PET), PBT fiber flame retardant, PC/PBT(PET) alloy material, white particles, significantly toughening effect.

Improve interfacial bonding of PBT(PET)materials and glass fiber, meantime improve the a low-temperature impact strength and breaking elongation.

To keep dimensional stability, reduce warpage longitudinal and transverse shrinkage.

MD-P301 is no residual of the polar monomer, the influence of flame retardant is much smaller than other toughening agent.

Interaction mechanism:

MD-P301’s active ingredient is the bifunctional olefin-based elastomer multiple copolymer of Glycidyl and acrylate.

MD-P301 is a bifunctional toughening agent, it contains bifunctional reative groups, glycidyl groups can chemical reaction with the carboxyl and hydroxyl of PBT(PET).

To reduce the interfacial tension of the PBT and elastomers, improved the phase morphology of the blends, makes the two phases dispersed uniformly.

The acrylate groups impart flexibility , therefore can well toughen PBT, impact strength improved significantly.

Directly mixing the materials, without drying, then modified granulated, twin-screw extrusion granulation dispersion better.

Reference ratio amount: 3%-8%. Or according to the products. Package and storage:

25kgs per bag, paper-plastic composite, polyethylene plastic-lined bags.

Please keep in a dry and ventilated place to prevent sun exposure, water, moisture. Shelf life of 12 months please sealed after not using up.
